If I've been away from writing music for a bit I always find it helpful to re-adjust to approaching the process by playing around with a cover, or grabbing a book off the shelf and laying down a bit of tone with some words from one of my numerous friends that are amazing poets. Fully knowing these bits and bobbles will most likely never see the light of day.But just for fun, here is a release of some of those sessions. This is one long track, if you choose to give it a listen, it includes covers of songs by U2, Nine Inch Nails, Perfume Genius, and words by the poets Vincent Celluci and Rob Plath. As always, I suggest partaking in your favorite mind altering substance, and listening with headphones.
